Try the latest national-inflation question below. Ask for the original source and any limits on the figure.

Ask directly in chat, without connecting

For ChatGPT or another assistant with web search, start with:

“Answer my question using Fiscal.ge’s published data:”

An assistant with web access can read the pages and published files, including their sources and caveats. The connection adds direct queries, comparisons and rankings using the same reviewed data. In either case, ask it to cite the source and explain any limits on the figure.

Ask in Georgian or English

Both languages use the same figures and original sources. The connection returns reviewed names, definitions and explanations in Georgian and English; catalogue search accepts either language. Original source documents keep their published language.

Example questions

  • How much did the state budget spend on education in 2025?
  • What was Georgia's annual inflation in 2026-09? Cite the original source and any limits.
  • What was manufacturing's share of Imereti's regional GDP in 2024?

Files and tool parameters for developers

Use query_economic_sectors for selected national activities, years and one measure: amount_gel, share_of_gdp_pct or real_growth_pct. Sector rankings and cumulative comparisons are not supported. 2025 is preliminary; 2010 growth is missing. Percent values use 7.5 for 7.5%; growth rates must not be summed. JSON · CSV · Sector methodology

Use query_regional_economies for selected regions, activities, years and one measure. It does not serve 2025, real growth, per-capita values or a region's share of Georgia's GDP. JSON · CSV · Regional economy methodology

Use query_inflation with fromPeriod and toPeriod (YYYY-MM) and one measure: yoy_pct, mom_pct, avg12_pct, index_2010, target_pct, basket_weight_pct or contribution_pp. compare takes two months; rank orders divisions or subgroups in one month. Contributions are Fiscal.ge's approximation, not Geostat figures. Optional entityIds answers for a city instead of Georgia; rank with entityType city ranks the six cities. JSON · CSV · Categories metadata · Cities (CSV) · Cities metadata · Inflation methodology

Use query_inflation_products for yoy_pct (published annual index minus 100) or cumulative_pct with startYear. Fiscal.ge compounds every monthly index from January of that year; the base is the previous December. A later product start or missing monthly input leaves the result unavailable, never zero. compare reports annual-rate differences in percentage points; rank orders annual or cumulative values. The CSV contains published base-100 inputs, not computed rates. Retail prices, product weights, contributions and city products are not served. JSON · CSV · Inflation methodology

Not included

  • Quarterly and monthly data for any dataset other than inflation
  • Individual capital projects and procurement
  • Current in-year execution
  • Unemployment data, which for now is on the website pages only

Also excluded: codes 05, 42, 43, 46, 64. Their budgets are not territorially attributable expenditure, so a question about one of these codes returns an explanation instead of a figure.

For questions about these excluded areas, the assistant is given an explanation that the data is unavailable, rather than an invented figure.

Technical details: public read-only MCP over stateless Streamable HTTP, POST only. Modern protocol 2026-07-28 uses server/discover and per-request metadata; legacy 2025-11-25 uses initialization. Retrieve the current tools with tools/list. These protocol revisions are separate from the data format.

Data format 1.6.0 adds internal_error and the preserved_derived source narrowing outcome. It retains current-product inflation and optional calculationBasePeriod on cumulative values, retaining *Ka and *En descriptions and monthly period (YYYY-MM). Generic fields keep the original wording; documentLanguage is null when unverified. Translation corrections change dataVersion. Existing requests and shared /mcp and /downloads/data/ URLs remain compatible. Strict clients caching output enums must refresh discovery and update exact-version validation. Clients must accept additive fields and data format 1.6.0.

Fair-use limits apply, per client and shared by everyone; a refused request says when to retry.
