Separate Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi/Kvemo Svaneti begin in 2019; separate Samtskhe-Javakheti, Guria and Mtskheta-Mtianeti begin in 2017. Earlier combined regions remain distinct.

Employed people include hired employees, the self-employed and a small unclassified worker group. The two subcategories therefore do not add up to the full total. Hired and self-employed counts are available for 2020–2025. Earlier years are unavailable.
